Wolf Pack Auditions information

Hey Space Cowboys! I been working on the wolf pack since 2016 sooo for about five years. Since then I bought myself Dragonframe3 (i got a free upgrade to 4) purchased several doll clothes, made several myself, made several characters, learned to cast doll heads, and etc. I’ve written the entire first season which is 6 episodes and a prolog and I’m finally ready to hold auditions because ya girl just got out of art school!

Q: SO, What do I need to include in the audition?

A: Each submission will read one-two lines of their chosen character that will be in the character description. Acting is a MUST for these roles so do your best to pretend as I make up each scene that won’t be in the script. This will keep the project safe so those who don’t get the part won’t receive any spoilers when this stop motion series comes out.

So to conclude for this section:

-A voice reel in .wav or mp3 format or if you have a link to a youtube channel that’ll do just fine.

-A separate .wav or mp3 format of your audition of the character labeled as
for example:

-A sentence explaining what you’re using to record along with your availability

Note: In order for your audition to be considered your audio must be clean, clear, crisp.
Q: So, What are you looking for in a character?

A: I’m looking for great actors who are used to playing dramatic and or light hearted roles. I want very natural sounding voices. Versatility is also a plus, as I will assign actors with more than one voice to minor roles. The cast is simply large and realistically I don’t see every single character role having a separate actor for each individual minor character.



Q: What will I need in order to be considered?

A: A computer. A good quality microphone or good quality smart phone such as an iPhone or android that can be used to record. Availability is the most important factor next to having skill or talent. We will work around each person schedule. However as a group we will decide when we will record. We will record our lines with each other per scene via Zoom App.  This will help keep us organized and let those who aren’t in the scene rest. We will record each and every episode from 1-6 before any animation can be done. I cannot animate without recordings this is why it is imperative that everyone involved in this project be prompt and ready to go when asked. I need responsive responsible people.

Q: Does this opportunity pay?

A: Unfortunately, I cannot afford to pay for everyone’s time at this time as I’m just starting out fresh from Art school. So I hope those who are chosen for the part are excited to act.This is my passion project and once I wrote the script, I HAD to bring it to life by any means.


Q: Age requirements?

A: 18 and above, I’m sorry no children or minors will be allowed to audition. I know it’s a bummer but I do not want to be responsible for someone’s child even if that child is a teenager and has parental consent.


MOVING ON TO CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS and Lines
Gene Wolf Is the Matriarch of the Wolf Pack, she is an ex Princess of the Golden Eye Tribe. She is a very powerful black woman who wears her graying hair as a form of pride and growth. She moves in her pack as a leader who is more equipped for masculine roles. She raised her oldest children the way she was raised; like strict Royalty. She only let’s those closest to her see her real emotions but she is strong in front of those she doesn’t know. Dependable. Reliable. Resilient. Yet when she is around her Husband she is soft, feminine and her true self. Her tribe tries to undermine her as she cannot birth a full litter of children which is unheard of from a female wolf. This scorn comes from after the monster war, there were so many deaths that child bearing 3-4 children at a time was seen as a great thing. Gene wishes she could do this but tough, she is not a breeding mare nor will she ever wish to me as its not her destiny.

Lines: What tribe are you from? You’re no kin to me so get out! I didn’t come to this world to be pushed…..yet when I look at you…you push me to be better.
Clark Wolf Is the beloved father of the wolf pack. Married to Gene Wolf. His father taught him equality amongst different wolves and other monsters. He united the separate wolf tribes into one wolf pack. He helped created the Monster Council because of this. However, there are still separate wolf tribes who refused to merge. He is an Alpha who married his Alpha. They rule as equals amongst the wolf pack. He raised his younger children as he dislikes leading but he loves leading his household. He is a stay at home father who handles the domestic duties of his household. He is firm but always fair. He doesn’t believe in violence first but he will use it to protect those he loves. He is a proud black man who shows his sons and daughters that having emotions and expressing them is important. He was never royalty, but married into it. He doesn’t like to be called “your highness” and doesn’t like to be reminded that he actually has more titles then just a pack leader due to Gene. Gene is his equal and confidant. He loves books, can’t see a lick without his glasses.

Lines: I don’t suppose you….looked under your pillow? Candy? Now how did that get there? haha, I love you too sugarplum….Watch how you talk to your mother.
Clawdia Wolf is the oldest child of the wolf family. Daughter of Clark and Gene Wolf. She is an aspiring novelist who has written as a ghost writer for several spellbooks. She’s intelligent and knowledgeable. She was raised by her mother Gene Wolf so she tends to bottle up her emotions. She coined the term in her family “monster up.” Because she’s smart like that. She carries herself with discipline so she can complete her deadlines and any tasks she needs to do. That’s important to her because her parents sent her to London to study English. She is very good at telling tall tales, her sibblings Clawd and Clawdeen used to hang on every word she said as children because when she tells a tale, it’s a TALL tale. Her motto is “If you’re going to tell a lie, tell a GOOD lie.” You can assume that she’s never gotten in trouble growing up for sneaking out. She loves her family and puts them over anything. She will run home in a minute if you tell her that her mother has the flu just to take over. She doesn’t hesitate she just does. A leader in the making. A young black woman on her way to make something of herself. Unfortunately she has her father’s poor eyes and she is annoyed by not having 20/20 vision.
Lines: When I was in London this witch once asked ME to do HER hair. Honey I corn rowed that jam up like no ones business! ….Don’t tell me you believed that! The Ancestors did not bless me with the secret to braiding!
Clawd Wolf: The second oldest of the wolf family but honestly you couldn’t tell him that. To him, HE’S the oldest, you can challenge him if you think otherwise. His mother raised him to be competitive and he hates looking weak and soft in front of others. That includes his family. He has built this perfect strong leader persona to give his underlings- I mean younger siblings, a wolf they can look up to. He makes straight A’s though his jock like persona makes people think he’s not very good when it comes to hitting the books. Even his own mother thinks he was out flirting with girls instead of actually studying in the library. Clawd isn’t one to tell lies he doesn’t have to because for some reason his truth sounds like a lie. He clearly didn’t get the soothsayer gene from his sister Clawdia. Captain of the basketball team, football team, and team team. I mean Really, what can’t this wolf do? He’s very competitive but a great leader and takes charge when ask. Secretly however, he doesn’t know how to deal with being vulnerable and that scares him.

Lines: Monster up man, no one wants to see that. When you walk across that field, you score. You don’t have a choice….you just do it because no one can see you fail.
Clawdeen Wolf:  The third oldest of the wolf family. Her mother raised her to be capable of anything she wanted to do. She encouraged her to play any sport deemed “For boys” She’s athletic and always proves to do her best. Sadly, she’s not the smartest on her tests but she studies hard to pass regardless and she’s very proud of herself when she does. While she loves breaking gender norms, she loves to sew. She loves to serve the girls looks when she goes to school. To her it might as well be a fashion show. She’s confident and outgoing. She loves her friends especially her best friend Draculuara. She treats her closest friends like family even though she likes them to be SEPARATE. She got over her best friend dating her brother Clawd eventually though. She can be a bit motherly at times as she is always scolding her little sister Howleen whom she shares a room with. They are always arguing about something. She is low key a daddy’s girl. Clueless when it comes to love and she’s a strong young black girl who Is more concerned about her family in tough times. She is Loyal, reliable, and plays baseball and a fearleader. She loves both parents but tries to hide the fact she’s a daddy’s girl.
Lines: Did you what June Bug Wolf was wearing to school? Who dressed her sis? I don’t know but- HOWLEEN ARE YOU WEARING MY TOP? NO way! Take that off before I take off some of that mustache!
Clawn Wolf is the Middle child of the Wolfpack. LORD he looks like the most alternative black boy you’ve ever seen. If middle school mistakes was an outfit, it would be him. He went from the youngest child to an older brother quickly as his mother had triplets after right after him. He spends most of his time listening to emo rock bands and only saying something when he feels like it. He sounds like he’s the most bored and sarcastic of the family and often his siblings don’t pay him any mind. The black sheep if you will. He doesn’t care much about this because his father and mother give him enough love and attention. His mother says this is just a phase. His father says it’s not a phase it’s probably who he is. His mother is a bit worried… He spends most of his time listening to music, dying his hair outrageous colors, getting piercings he has no business getting, and drawing jail tattoos on his fellow classmates with a needle. He’s not really interested in sports but his mother tries to bond with him with his chess game competitions. No matter how weird he tries to be his mother still raised him to be the BEST at it. If you’re going to be weird, you better be the weirdest, his mother would tell him. His dad bonds with him over critiquing his tattoo designs and goes to concerts with him. He finds this annoying because he knows his father doesn’t like this monster metal music. He doesn't appreciate how accepting his parents are of his “phase.”

Lines: Listen, you have poor taste in music okay? I have my tastes you have yours, you don’t have to be such an ass about it and force yourself for me…

Howlvin Wolf: The 4th youngest but the oldest of the triplets of the wolf family. He’s Pretty boring according to his brother Howie. He likes to play chess with his brother Howie and he seems to have complete control over his emotions. He never gets too excited or too angry or happy. He feels monotoned. If you ask him about it he would tell you it’s because he’s just neutrally content with his life. He says he understands his mortality and that makes him content. His control over his emotions makes him his mother’s favorite out of the triplets because dealing with neutral emotions is easier so she can relax. Yet his father has been raising him and he’s very in-tuned and in touch with how he feels. He’s very intelligent yet he’s very disinterested in his studies. He doesn’t try to study or anything really, he’s just naturally talented at everything he tries. Probably why he feels bored in school a lot. His parents pushed him to try out for advanced classes so he can get the mental stimulation he needs at such a young age. That helped him but he still rarely shows interests but he does like the challenge.
As triplets they’re empathetic of each other. Emotional empaths as they can feel how the other is doing which gets stronger as they triplets are closer. Howlvin is the only triplet strong enough to handle Howleen and Howie’s strong emotions. The more Rational triplet.

Lines: Hey mom…I got an A Plus Plus on my exam….Yeah, it was really easy, I wish they would of asked us all the hard questions.

Howie Wolf: The 3rd youngest of the triplets of the wolf family. He spends a lot of time trying to improve his grades but he’s simply not the best at it. It bothers him that his brother gets things so easily. He has to work three times as hard out of all his siblings just to pass. What he lacks in this department he gains in others. He has a great sense of humor. He knows how to express himself but sometimes he’s very hot headed and uses his fists to tell you exactly how he feels. He enjoys attention from his parents as well but he feels that his other siblings gets all the attention. His father understands that Howie needs a bit more attention vs Howlvin so he is always there to cheer him on while his mother cheers on Howlvin and Howie for their academic achievements. The more Irrational triplet.

Lines: Would it KILL you to smile sometime? You always have that resting-ass Wolf Face Howlvin. UGH *chuckles*….still love you bro.

Howleen Wolf: Youngest of the triplets but the 2nd youngest in the wolf family. She is a bit bratty when it comes to her older sister Clawdeen. Mainly because Clawdeen plays mother hen too much and that annoys her. She wishes her sister could just act like one towards her. Clawdia is probably the only one who doesn’t act like her mom so they’re closer. With her off at college though Clawdeen is the only girl around next to her actual mom. Howleen loves to stand out at school. She often plays with fashion just like her sister except Howleen doesn’t sew her own clothes. Instead she often steals Clawdeens old clothes like a thrift store. She believes she can wear it better so she takes it. She’s very close with her brothers Howie and Howlvin. Howie is her favorite because to her Howlvin is soooo boring. She loves them very much however. Howleen can be a little bit of a brat but she is true to her friends and very loyal to what she believes. Her father taught her well which is why she’s a fully on daddy’s girl. She looks up to her mother and father but especially her mother. She admires how strong she is but wishes she could be that strong some day. She’s also wise for her age.

Lines: Yes this is YOUR top. It Obviously looks better on me Clawdeen that’s why I’m wearing it. On you it’s just wearing YOU to say the least…Hhmf! Don’t me mad cause I know how to WORK it.

Clawnnor: Youngest Member of the Wolf Pack. If you don’t really know him that well at first glance people find him a bit creepy. Like horror movie children acting too grown creepy because he doesn’t say much unless spoken to. He isn’t shy, just likes to chooses what he says carefully. In terms of emotional intelligence he’s very very intuned to others emotions. Much like Howlvin is with his emotions but his empathic ways reflect everyone. As an empath he can feel how others feel around him and he often takes action. He once felt his father was hungry and went to make his dad a sandwich. Things like this always surprises his dad because he’s so small, He wonders how he manages to reach. He’s probably the kindest of all the wolves in the land, his mother thinks so. He seems like an old soul reincarnated. His siblings think he’s weird but at least he’s cute. He enjoys reading and doing whatever he can to comfort others. His mother thinks he will grow up to be a therapist. His father gave him protection stones once he realized his son was an empath. Strong emotions can do him harm if he’s not aware of what he is. Although, Clark knows he’s very aware.

Lines: I know you’re hurting…It’s okay to hurt sometimes but it’s not okay to take it out on your brother.

Lord Dracula: Part of the Monster Council. Blood Uncle to Elizabat, the vampire Queen. He is a scary man if you didn’t really know him. He comes off as stoic at first glance but he’s more than he appears. He once had a human wife, which was his adoptive daughter’s mother. He treats her like his own blood daughter and treats her well because of his human wife who died from an old world disease. He loved her therefore he loves her daughter. He spoils Draculaura with anything she wants as a way of showing his love. He’s strict but fair. A Mysterious man as one can never tell what he’s thinking. He’s cool, calculating, and rarely ever hesitates. He seems to know just what to do in the moment. In reality however, he’s just thinking about every outcome in a matter of seconds. His love for his human wife soften him into being more empathetic to humans. He is put under a lot of criticism for giving the gift of being a vampire to only humans instead of procreating more with another pure blooded vampire. The humans he gives the vampire gift to are brought to him by his family. Each human he lets into his home were once plagued by disease or sudden death. In exchange for the vampire gift the humans vow to protect any vampire related to Dracula outside of this world. He holds a lot of secrets yet never tells a lie but he won’t exactly tell you the truth. He loves old buildings, in fact he won’t live in a house that’s under 100,000 years old. Old things have more character in his opinion. He respects Clark Wolf as his equal as Clark as a reputation for bringing peace amongst monsters.

Lines: If I didn’t know better Mr. Wolf…I’d say your son has an infatuation  for my daughter…or perhaps it’s she who has the impairment.

Draculaura: The adoptive Daughter of Lord Dracula. She’s also the best friend of Clawdeen Wolf and girlfriend to Clawd Wolf. She’s terribly terribly terrified of blood. She doesn’t quite remember why so much but the phobia is a bit ridiculous to other vampires. She’s vegan. That alone should tell you why other vampires in other clans do not care for her. She can be bratty when she doesn’t get her way when it comes to her father. She’s a daddy’s girl and she pretty much gets what she wants. Other than that she’s very kind and caring towards her friends. She’s a hopeless romantic and dreams way to big sometimes. She loves shopping and taking care of her pet birds. She has probably 100 of them. Clawd likes to call her the crazy bird lady on occasion. Her not eating blood is an ongoing problem for her. She needs it to be strong but memories of her human mother seems to prevent her from doing so. She isn’t sure why.

Lines: Daddy! I saw this super cute white skirt at the mall, but they didn’t have it in pink, do you think you could make them custom dye it? Really?…Please….OHHH thank you thank you daddy you’re the best! *MUAH*

ElizaBat: Former Actor now Queen of All vampires an unofficial member of the monster Council. She resides on Dracula’s court because he is the only vampire she can trust along with the rest of his court. She is stoic, cool, confident, and regal. When she speaks she sounds like a queen if you ask any monster who’s seen her movies. She holds herself to high standards no matter what she does. She reminds Draculaura of a femme Fatale. Her words often come off a flirtatious as she has a way with saying something that makes you think she’s saying something else. Honestly, she means exactly what she is saying but the way she says it confuses others. Mainly because she seems to be always acting. She respects Dracula’s softness towards humans and she spends most of her time talking to him about ruling over the vampires.

Lines: I order you to tell me what is going on…or…is it that you want me to order you that you make me say these words?  Please do not misunderstand me…dear.

Sloan: Current handmaid to Draculaura and resides in Dracula’s court. A young black girl with what Draculuara calls “the most beautiful afro” she’s ever seen. She also doubles as a security guard. She’s Mysterious vampire as her aura doesn’t seem to be just right. She seems off like she isn’t really meant to be where she is. She doesn’t remember her past or how she was given the gift.  She almost seems like she’s hiding something. Yet Dracula trusts her out of his entire court to protect draculuara while she is still choosing to not drink blood. She carries out her orders carefully and swiftly no matter what she seems to be very obedient. She was hidden away for many years until recently when Dracula released her from her coffin. She’s confused about what she is. Was she once human like the others? As she is remembering her past she keeps this knowledge from others as she gets the feeling she cannot trust them. She never shows her true face to any vampire. The other monsters at her school find her charming and a bit weird.

Lines: If you so much as look at her incorrectly wolf…I’ll have your head and trust when I say this, It won’t be hard to do so…Have a very pleasant evening.

Vladis: A member of Dracula’s Court. She was once human like all members of Dracula’s court. Because of this vampires of other clans dislike her. Vladis however, is hungry for popularity and does everything in her power to fit in. She drinks blood, scorn wolves, and walks the walk but can she talk the talk? Vladis comes off as snobby, a bit of a mean girl with an old world sexy southern drawl. She carries herself with pride and is very blunt yet she knows she should never speak ill in front of Dracula or Draculuara. She’s blunt but not stupid. She talks a lot of shit and never backs it up.

Lines: I think its terribly un vampire-like to walk everywhere like some kind of “Human.”

Dario: A member of Dracula’s Court. In his human life he resided in South Korean and met his adoptive sister when he was brought by his family to Lord Dracula. They were given the vampire gift together. He tries not to think of his past and enjoys the present to the fullest. He feels like his family didn’t save his life and just gave him away. Regardless, He has a great sense of humor and is always picking on Vega and Vladis. He just wishes Vladis understood who her real friends are. Real friends don’t care if you were once human, right? Dario is always telling jokes and teasing. A very playful vampire. He often hands out with Thyia.

Lines: You know what’s really funny? You when you look at blood, you faint like some kind of southern housewife  that faints when her corset is too tight. Is your corset just too tight Draculurara? Huhhh? Huhhh? heh.

Thyia: Member of  Dracula’s Court. Younger adoptive sibling to Dario. She made a pact to be each other’s sibling since they were brought by their families to Dracula at the same time. She’s Japanese and likes to display her culture in how she dresses. To her, you shouldn’t forget where you came from originally. She made Dario Learn her old language and vice versa to keep each other grounded in their culture. Dario likes to make fun of her in her own language. She has a lot of respect for Dracula and is happy to be alive. She is playful much like her brother. She laughs just as easily as she is serious.

Lines: Dario, you’re so ghoulish. It’s not funny!

Astaire Vega Dumas: A member of Draculas Court. Goes by Vega to his friends. A charming young brown vampire who carries himself like royalty. He’s almost like a prince to other vampires. Yet, once they find out about his human past life they’re quick to dislike him. He tries not to let it bother him. He just wishes they would dislike him for him and not his past. He doesn’t even really remember his past to begin with. He is flirty with a great sense of humor. One could say Dario taught him that. He is the youngest of Dracula’s court and often gets teased by Dario because of how short he is. He’s still growing of course. One day he hopes to be taller than Dario so he can rub it in his face. Thyia is like a mother to him. She is always stopping Dario from going to far with his jokes. One time Thyia called Dario by his real human name to get him to stop. The joke got a little too mean that day. Vega loves a good joke, a good party, and he loves girls with great fashion sense. To him, it’s because women are walking works of art. Odd, we know.

Lines: You are the most beautiful little kitty I’ve ever seen. Would you care to be my companion forever Sir Black cat?

Minor Characters ((Less Lines this Season))

Cleo De Nile: Egyptian African Royalty of the Ancient De Nile family. Leader of the fear leading squad, ex girlfriend of Clawd Wolf and friendemies with Clawdeen Wolf. She is very similar to Clawd wolf in having to set an example as a leader. Her father pushes her to be a Princess who leads in everything she does much like her older sister Nefera. She acts tough but she’s really kind deep down. She can be a mean girl however this girl has fangs. She can really say some hurtful things just because she wants to win. Clawd Wolf is the only one she’s really shown her real self too besides her current boyfriend Deuce.

Lines:  I’ve wanted to hear you say that…for a long time now. Don’t ever get in my way again…it’s over for you.

Twyla: Daughter of the Boogie man. Best friend of Howleen Wolf and close friend of Howie Wolf. She’s the girl next door, a spooky pastel goth. She’s very intelligent and attends advance classes with Howlvin. She’s the kind of girl who doesn’t care what others thinks. She cares more about what her friends think of her instead. She’s cool and monotoned sometimes but she low key has a good sense of humor. Her jokes are very dry much like her voice. She hides in shadows as her power is moving to shadow to shadow.

Lines: Why should I care what they think of me Howleen? When they don’t even care about me…seems silly.  

Romulus: Member of the silver Wolf clan. Old friend of Clawd Wolf. Neighbors of the Wolf family. He’s got a crush on Clawdeen. He tries to act cool but really he’s a bit sheepish. Still, he’s a very strong prideful wolf.

Lines: Clawdeen…I just wanted to say thank you…you know for before? You encouraged me to take the lead at the Wolves Academy.

Giovanni: Uncle to Romulus who is a member of the current wolf pack. An intelligent wolf who is a bit rude as he is very blunt and to the point. He’s an old wolf who is afraid of being cast aside.

Lines: But who is going to lead us? How can we expect you to lead us when it’s your fault we got here in the first damn place!?

Faylok: Member of two-toned Wolf clan. Currently working for the Monster Police Department. He’s MPD. He’s a lead detective who often does favors for members of the monster Council. He sticks to the rules unless the rules need to be bent in order to get justice. He’s a super sleuth detective.

Lines: Sir is it okay if I question you tomorrow? I know it’s been tough for you. But before you go answer this…where were you on the night of the full moon.


Graveyard Goblin: He has an imp-like voice. He does his job in the graveyard very well and he shows respect to all powerful monsters. He’s got a face only a mother could love but if you ask him he’s beautiful because his mother and his wife both think so. He can come off as meek because of how he speaks.

Lines: Excuse me kind sir, this graveyard closes at midnight now due to disturbances around here lately….
